[Hello, Luceti! Surely you weren't expecting a loudmouth ninja to make an entry on the journals during your Valentine's Day. And surely you didn't expect such an entry to start off by being obnoxious and loud. And if you didn't expect it, then the joke's on you. Because that's exactly what's going to happen right now. He won't regret a thing. And Naruto probably should've filtered this, but he was too excited to. Go figure.]

OI! [That probably got some people's attention. But he's only fishing for one person's attention.] Hinata-chan, where are you right now!? I've got somethin' I wanna show you!

[And when he doesn't instantaneously get an answer:] Anyone see her around? I can't find her anywhere! [That's probably one of the downfalls of having one hell of an impatient boyfriend around Valentine's Day, huh? And one who didn't check her apartment for her.]

[Hold on a second, Naruto's busy trying to filter this. It's important that Hinata doesn't spoil the surprise by hearing Naruto's loose lips.]

This workin'? [Yup.] I got her a bunch of gifts for Valentine's Day!

Ah, I'm here in my apartment. I- I'm sorry if you have been looking for me all this time. I was just a bit busy.

[Naruto's going to instantly perk up the moment he hears Hinata's voice. Not that he wasn't perked up in the first place. He's just one-upping that is all. the excitement shows in his voice, and it certainly shows on that big goofy grin of his.

Even though he kind of sucked at looking for her, he now knows where she is. Freaking sweet.] Hey! C'mon, you don't gotta apologize for somethin' like that! [There's no need to apologize to him for anything, Hinata. Geez.]

I was just lookin' for you 'cause I've got somethin' to give you! I'm gonna stop by, alright?

[His excitement makes her smile wide. It always does. He often has that effect on her and it just doubled the moment they began dating for real.]

Alright. [The fact that he just told her he'll give something makes her blush even more. He really shouldn't have but she knows well not to stop his gestures of affection.] I will be waiting.

[And Hinata gives that nicely decorated box on her table a glance. She hopes he'll like it.]

[It doesn't take long for Naruto to get the building and make a bee-line to Hinata's room nearly as fast as he would get to his own apartment. It's just become something that he did so often, he'd gotten used to it. And he's doing this while lugging around a number of things he picked up for Hinata since today was such a special day and all.

When he gets to her door, he'll set the gifts to the side on the floor so she can't see it the moment she answers the door. He's gotta be sneaky about this to surprise her. It's his duty.

... Man, he really should've figured to check her apartment sooner. Shikamaru was right after all.

[The moment she heard those knocks, she also heard her heart thunder against her ears. Opposite that closed door is the young man she has devoted her affections to; the young man she's willing to give her life for. That thought is enough to fill her with joy.

So with a smile on her face, Hinata wastes no time in opening her door. That blush returns when she finally sees him. Kyaa.]

Naruto-kun. [Just saying his name envelops her heart with warmth.] I'm glad to see you. Come in. Do you want anything to eat? [This is a special day, after all.]

[As soon as he catches sight of her, Naruto just awkwardly rubs the back of his head. There's a hint of a blush on his cheeks, but that's because she's so cute when she's smiling. It's one of those things he loves about her.]

Somethin' to eat? [He is feeling kind of hungry.

WAIT NO, HE HAS BUSINESS TO ATTEND TO.] A-Actually, not right now! I got somethin' for you! [And within the moment of his words, he reaches off to the side and pulls out some flowers. And a box of chocolates. And then he holds them out to Hinata.

... Some of the chocolate might be missing.]

[The moment her gaze lands on the fragrant blooms in his grasp and the chocolates (never mind if some are missing because that just means these really came from Naruto) that accompany them, Hinata's blush turns even redder. For a transient time, she's just surprised. She knows Naruto's the kind of guy who devotes much of his effort into pleasing people special to him, but she still can't help but be overwhelmed.]

[Then again, this doesn't last long as she carefully accepts his gifts with a genuine, timid smile.]

Oh, Naruto-kun... You shouldn't have... [But she knows she can't stop him and she knows she doesn't really want him to stop.] Thank you so much. These are really beautiful. I- I appreciate them a lot. [She'll appreciate anything he gives, really.]

[The worst part? There's another gift. Naruto justt stands there however, grinning like the idiot he tends to be.]

That's not everythin'! [One step to the side reveals a... giant stuffed animal. It's absolutely huge for a stuffed animal, and that's why it caught Naruto's eye. Totally perfect for making up for eating her chocolate Hinata-chan. And it's a frog.

He's just loving the whole showering with gifts deal he's got going on right now. Naruto can't help it. He loves seeing her reactions to this kind of stuff, and he loves showing how much he cares about her.] I got you a toad! [It's still a frog.]
